Booking Policies*

We recommend that each band check out the club on the night of a show prior to booking in order to see the size and set-up of the room, which has a capacity of 150 people. Band(s) should get equipment into the building between 7:30pm and 8:30pm. Starting time for the shows will be 9pm (for four act shows) or 9:30pm (for three act shows), unless otherwise agreed, and doors will open at 8:30pm. Payment for band(s) is as follows, unless otherwise agreed in advance. Cover charge ranges from $6 to $10. Each act/band is allowed two guests. If a band feels that more guest(s) should not pay, band members should reimburse them themselves.

All equipment including sound at PA's is owned and operated by our personnel. The first $125 ($140 for Fridays and Saturdays**) from the door is used to cover PA's facilities and services. (An additional 10% will then be taken above the $125[$140 for Fri/Sat**].) The remaining money will be split among the band(s) according to draw. Each band member will receive one drink ticket good for a Free Draft Beer; see the doorman when you arrive to receive a ticket. Please try to bring the smallest amount of equipment possible. The room can get crowded so please take its size into consideration. There is a designated area next to the stage to stack equipment.

Currently we are listing with the Globe, the Phoenix, the Herald, The Weekly Dig, and other area papers. Outside promotion is primarily the bands' responsibility. All Posters/Flyers can be sent to the address at the left or dropped off during business hours. PA's website will also carry an up-to-date schedule. No Outside Food or Beverages are allowed in the Band Room. If you want to bring in food, we ask that you keep it on the Bar side. Please remember that this is Somerville and we have a 1:00am liquor license. Last call is at 12:45am.

All bands/artists who would like to play at P.A.'s please send a link to your website/myspace page (as long as it has MP3's) to booking@paslounge.com. Basically the Booking Manager needs to be able to hear your music and check your show schedule. Please do Not send MP3's attatched to e-mails! If you want to send a CD and press kit, address it to the above address. Please allow about two weeks before following up.

IMPORTANT Once you do book a show here, we ask that you do not book another Boston area show within at least TWO WEEKS prior to or TWO WEEKS following your show at P.A.'s. Booking local shows too close together WILL affect your draw. If you have any questions about this policy, please feel free to ask the booking manager about it. Violating this policy will render any prior contract between band/act and P.A.'s (including any guarantee or hospitality agreement) Null/Void and non-binding to P.A.'s, unless an arrangement has been worked out prior to Confirming the show. P.A.'s reserves the right to Cancel the band/act in question in this event.

For any non-booking communication, please contact Gerard at 617-776-1557 after 6pm, or by email at gerard@paslounge.com. Thank you for your cooperation.
